Trusted by Studios, Wedding & Commercial Photographers
Portrait studios, wedding shooters and commercial photographers send us their raw take and get finished galleries back the next working day.
What Photographers Outsource, and Why
Post-production is the least scalable part of a photography business. It does not get faster with experience, it cannot be done during a shoot, and it is the reason delivery times slip.
Post-production is the bottleneck
A wedding is one day to shoot and a week to edit. Outsourcing the edit is what lets a studio take the next booking without pushing delivery back.
Edited to your style, not ours
Send a set of your own finished images as reference. Your look is recorded as a style guide and applied to every batch, so the gallery still reads as your work.
White label by default
Files come back unbranded and unmarked. Your client never sees us, and we never use your images in our portfolio without written permission.
RAW in, finished out
We work from RAW rather than your exported JPEGs, so highlight recovery, white balance and colour grading all happen with the full file intact.
How It Works for Photographers
Four steps from raw frames to listing-ready files, with no account setup in between.
Send the take
RAW, JPEG, TIFF or PSD by upload link, Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer or straight to your FTP.
Edited to your style guide
A named retoucher works to the reference set you supplied, so the result matches your existing gallery.
Quality control
A second editor checks colour, skin, crop and consistency across the whole set before anything is sent.
Delivery, unbranded
Finished files return within 24 hours in the format your gallery or client needs. Revisions are unlimited.
Photo Editing Services We Offer Photographers
The full post-production stack, taken on per shoot or per season, each row shown on a photograph that demonstrates it. Culling and batch export to your gallery’s naming and sizes come with every set rather than being a service of their own. property interiors has its own page. Drag any slider to see the real file, before and after.
Portrait & Beauty Retouching
Skin cleaned and evened while keeping pores and texture, stray hairs tidied, eyes and teeth brightened only as far as they should be. The subject still looks like themselves, which is the whole test.
- Skin texture kept, not plastic
- Blemishes and stray hairs removed
- Eyes and teeth naturally lifted
- Frequency separation, by hand
Wedding & Event Editing
Full-day takes culled, colour matched across changing light, and finished to one consistent look from the getting-ready room to the reception floor.
- Whole galleries colour matched
- Mixed and difficult light corrected
- Consistent from morning to reception
- Volume handled to a deadline
Headshot & Corporate Retouching
Business and personal-branding headshots finished to a clean, professional standard: glasses glare fixed, flyaways tidied, background cleaned or replaced.
- Glasses glare removed
- Flyaway hair tidied
- Background cleaned or replaced
- Natural, hire-ready result
Product & eCommerce for Clients
When a client needs listing images rather than portfolio images, we handle the cut-out, the white background and the marketplace sizing so you can quote commercial work without taking on the post.
- Hand-drawn clipping paths
- Marketplace-compliant white
- Shadow and reflection built
- Sized per platform spec
Property Exteriors, Skies and Grounds
Exterior sets brought to a listing standard: a flat sky replaced with one that matches the light already on the building, grounds and driveway tidied, and the render brought back to the colour it is actually painted. Interiors are the other half of a property job and are covered in full on our real estate page.
- Sky matched to the light on the building
- No halo along roofline or foliage
- Grounds, driveway and verges tidied
- Whole street of listings to one look
Colourways From a Single Shoot
A product photographed once, recoloured into every finish the client sells. For a commercial photographer this is the difference between quoting one shoot day and quoting six, and the client gets a set that is provably consistent because every variant is the same frame. Texture, highlight and material response are preserved rather than painted over.
- One shoot, every colourway
- Texture and highlights preserved
- Matched against a physical reference
- Bill it on as part of the shoot
Object Removal and Composite Work
The things that were in the frame and should not have been: a bin, a bystander, a picnic table between your subject and the horizon. Removing one cleanly means rebuilding what it was covering, which is why it is slow by hand and why photographers hand it over. Head swaps on group shots and background reconstruction are the same job at a larger scale.
- Objects and bystanders removed
- What they covered rebuilt, not smudged
- Head swaps on group shots
- Background reconstruction
Restoration and Archival Work
Faded prints, damaged negatives and scans a client has brought in from a shoebox. Cracks and stains are rebuilt, contrast is brought back to where the print has lost it, and the grain is matched across the repair. This is the one genre where the honest answer is sometimes no: detail that was never captured cannot be added, and we say which of yours are recoverable before doing the batch.
- Cracks, tears and stains rebuilt
- Contrast recovered on faded prints
- Grain matched across the repair
- Told up front what cannot be recovered
Studio Clean-up and Backdrop Extension
School, dance and team photography is shot in whatever room is available, so the backdrop runs out before the group does and the lights are in the frame. The paper is extended, the stands and edges removed, and the same treatment applied across every group from that session — which matters more than any single frame, because parents compare them side by side.
- Backdrop extended past the group
- Stands, lights and room edges removed
- One treatment across the whole session
- Exported to your gallery naming and sizes
Types of Photography We Edit
Different genres fail in different ways, and grouping them by how they fail is more useful than listing them out. Six groups covering everything that comes in, and what the edit has to fix in each. Food, sport, landscape and newborn work all arrive regularly and sit inside these groups rather than needing their own.
Portraits and beauty: the failure is doing too much
Every other genre here fails by under-correction. Portraits fail the other way. Skin retouched until the pores are gone reads as plastic to everyone except the person who did it, and clients rarely say so — they just do not book again. We work on the blemish and the stray hair and leave the texture. If you want it pushed further, say so per gallery rather than as a standing instruction.
Weddings and events: one day, six lighting situations
A wedding is shot in daylight, in a dim registry office, under tungsten at dinner and with flash on a dance floor, and the gallery has to read as one day. The work is matching across those rather than perfecting any single frame, which is why we ask for ten frames you have already graded instead of a written description of your style.
Headshots and teams: the same treatment forty times
Corporate sessions are judged on consistency more than on any individual portrait, because the shots end up in a row on an About page where differing skin tones, crops and background densities are immediately obvious. One treatment is set on the first frame and applied across the team, including the three people photographed a month later in a different room.
Property and interiors: verticals, windows, and the clock
Interiors are a technical merge before they are a retouch: brackets combined, verticals straightened, and the window recovered so it reads as a view rather than a white rectangle, while the room keeps the light it was actually shot in. The deadline is the other half — listing photography that arrives two days after the shoot has usually arrived too late.
Commercial, product and fashion: someone else has a brief
These are the genres where another party’s specification decides what right looks like: a marketplace’s background rule, a brand’s colour, a garment that has to read as the garment rather than as the model wearing it. The editing is less interpretive and more exacting, and the useful thing to send is the brief you were given, not your preferences.
Archival and restoration: what cannot be recovered
Damaged prints, faded slides and scanned negatives are the one genre where the honest answer is sometimes no. Cracks, tears and fading are rebuildable; detail that was never captured is not, and we would rather tell you that on the sample than invent it and hand back a photograph of somebody who almost looks like your grandmother.
Photographers and Studios We Work With
From a solo shooter clearing a backlog to a studio outsourcing every gallery it delivers. What separates them is which business constraint the editing is hitting.
Solo photographers: the backlog is the business
Working alone, editing decides how much you can take on, and it is invisible to the client until a gallery is late. There is no minimum order, so this can start as one wedding or one session rather than a commitment — and the honest test is whether the first returned gallery needs your hand on it afterwards.
High-volume shooters: peak season is the whole year
Weddings, schools and events compress a year of income into a few months, and the editing lands in exactly the same weeks as the shooting. Capacity that exists only in those weeks is what makes the season workable, with thousands of frames returned to one consistent treatment rather than to whatever you had energy for at 2am.
Studios: a house standard that outlives the editor
Once more than one person edits, the studio look has to exist as a written standard rather than as a habit. We hold it as a style guide and apply it to every gallery, so it survives a retoucher leaving and applies equally to work shot by your second shooter.
Property photographers: next-morning or not at all
Listing photography competes on turnaround more than on finish. Overnight return means the agent can list the following morning, which is worth more to them than anything subtle done to the sky, and same-day options exist for the ones that cannot wait even that long.
Commercial studios and agencies: under your own name
Campaign work arrives with someone else’s deadline and someone else’s brand on the invoice. Files return unbranded in your naming convention, ready to bill on as your own, and we do not appear anywhere in what you deliver or contact your client at any point.
Why Photographers Outsource Post-Production
The edit is the only part of the job that scales badly, and the only part a client never sees you do.
Shooting time is billable, editing time is not
Every hour at a screen is an hour not spent on a paid shoot or on winning the next one. Outsourcing converts fixed post hours into capacity.
Delivery speed wins referrals
Clients judge a photographer on turnaround almost as much as on the images. A gallery back in days rather than weeks is what gets recommended.
Consistency is hard alone
Editing a 600-frame wedding over five evenings drifts. A team working to a written style guide holds the same look from the first frame to the last.
Peak season has a ceiling
Booking capacity is limited by editing capacity. Outsourcing the post is what lets a studio say yes in the months that actually pay for the year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Prices, turnaround and capacity on this page were last reviewed in August 2026.
Will the edits match my style?
Yes, that is the point of the style guide. Send a set of your own finished images as reference and your look — contrast, colour, skin treatment, crop preference — is recorded and applied to every batch, so galleries still read as your work rather than ours.
Is the service white label?
Yes. Files come back unbranded and unmarked, and your client never sees us. We do not use your images in our own portfolio or marketing without written permission, and we will sign your NDA on request.
Do you edit RAW files?
Yes, from any camera, and we prefer it. Working from RAW rather than an exported JPEG means highlight recovery, white balance and grading all happen with the full file intact.
What genres of photography do you edit?
Portrait, beauty, wedding, event, corporate headshot, product, eCommerce, real estate, interiors, fashion, editorial, food, newborn, family, sports, landscape, commercial and archival restoration.
How many images can you handle at once?
Capacity runs to 8,000 images a day across the team, so a full wedding take or a season of listings is routine. For large sets we agree a delivery timeline upfront and meet it.
What is your turnaround time?
Standard turnaround is 24 hours for most orders, and 24–48 hours for high-end or high-volume work. Rush and same-day editing is available for urgent deadlines.
How do I send you my files?
By our upload portal, Dropbox, Google Drive or WeTransfer — whichever suits you. For recurring volume we can connect directly to your FTP server so delivery is automatic.
Can you match a specific export preset?
Yes. Tell us the sizes, colour space, sharpening, file naming convention and folder structure your gallery or client system expects, and every delivery follows it.
Do you deliver layered PSD files?
Yes, on request. A flattened JPEG or TIFF is standard, and the layered PSD can come alongside it so you can adjust the retouch yourself later.
Is there a minimum order?
No. You can send a single image, or start with the free trial of three. There is no minimum quantity and no sign-up required.
What if I am not happy with the edits?
Revisions are unlimited. Tell us what needs to change and we keep working until it matches what you had in mind. If revisions still do not resolve it, a money-back guarantee applies.
Are my client images kept confidential?
Yes. Client work is treated as confidential by default, files are stored securely, and nothing is published or shared without your written permission.
